It is time for new beginnings. I've caught the blogging bug as I helped my mom set up blogs for the family. I used to have other posts but I've taken them down and I will start anew and I thought what better way than with the things that I want to do in my life time.
My one goal for the past two years was to finish things that I start. I have actually finished more projects in the last two years than I have in my entire life and it's a great feeling. My personality is one of sparking new ideas and starting projects but finishing them is usually for someone else.
It's been hard, forcing myself to finish things but it's definitely good practice. In doing this, I've limited myself to small projects, which has also helped to keep down stress levels.
So....
These are the things I would like to do sometime in my life as of December 2008 (and not necessarily in this order):
1. Read the entire Bible
2. Read the Book of Mormon again
3. Write a book and have it published
4. Own my own steel pans
5. Scrapbook my memories
6. Turn all home videos into DVDs for my family
7. Buy a house
8. Play every instrument I can get my hands on
9. Own every instrument I can get my hands on
10. Get in shape
11. Travel around the world to get Genealogy work done
12. Build a house (whether it be for humans, in a tree, or for a dog)
13. Build a car that passes a safety check and can leave Laie
14. Own big white fluffy dogs that I'll name Sesshy and Yasha
15. Compose music and get it published
16. Compose music and have it performed by orchestra or choir or whatever else I write it for
17. Author a comic series
18. Do voice overs
19. Cure the world of stupidity (more a delightful thought than anything else)
20. Be a high school choir director.
I think that twenty things are enough for now but honestly, those are the only things I could remember wanting to do. I know a previous list was longer.
That's it for now.
